Become an "Official" Volunteer Fundraiser

We are asking for volunteers from across the country to become ‘official’ volunteer fundraisers for the float. This means you will get the word out about the float, encourage people to donate, and hold fund raising events to name a few.

We have created a Volunteer Kit for anyone—nurse or non-nurse—willing to become an official Nurses Float Fund Raiser. All you have to do is download the information offered below and START. We are here to support your efforts so please contact us because we want to recognize you on our web site by listing your name and posting a photo.

• Introductory Letter: Take this with you or mail to start your contacts. You can personalize the letter.
• Nurses' Float FAQs
• Nurse Week Donation Letter: We are asking hospitals to donate in the name of each nurse rather than buying a gift. This letter explains everything and has a short application form. Nurse week is May 6-12, 2011.
• Sponsor Packet: We are looking for financial sponsors and this provides all the information. The members of the Board of Directors are available to work with you if you have exclusive donors at the $50,000 level and higher. We are here to support you.
• Information Brochure: Our standard brochure can be printed off and distributed.
• Donate Flyer: A flyer has been created that can be posted as is or it can be enlarged to whatever size you desire.
• Donate Poster: This file needs to be downloaded onto a CD or flash drive and taken to your local copy place. It is an Adobe Illustrator file so it can only be opened if you have that software. This is a medium-sized poster that can be printed on soft or hard poster board. Your local copy/image store will be able to help you. If you have difficulty downloading onto a CD or flash drive contact us and we will send you the file.
