Float Rider from Pasadena City College

Nicole’s dream has to been to become a nurse since she was a small child. She is currently a student at Pasadena City College and will be graduating Dec. 11, 2012.

Outside of class, Nicole became involved in the “Ovarian Cancer Coalition Run” in September of 2012, placing second in the female division. She ran 6.2 miles, finishing the race in 45 minutes.   In addition to helping this cause she assisted in the coordination of a free public health fair along with nine other nursing students.

Nicole was also the recipient of the California Health Foundation scholarship award.
