Welcome to Flowers 4 the Float—the website for the Nurses Float. We are excited about this project and we encourage all nurses to support us through your financial donations, volunteering to decorate the float, encouraging others to donate, telling everyone you know about the project and asking them to support it too.
A Historic Event in 2013—The Nurses Float
In the year 2013, the President of the Tournament of Roses will be a nurse and her name is Sally Bixby. In the 124-year history of the Tournament of Roses, there will have been only two women as President and now one nurse. Sally has been a devoted volunteer working for over 20 years and all of her dedication will be recognized when she becomes President of the Tournament of Roses in 2012 topping her year as President with the 2013 Rose Parade.
