The Operating Room Nursing Council of California is a group of perioperative nurses that meet quarterly to discuss state issues that affect perioperative nursing practice. Sally Bixby is a perioperative nurse and she brought the "official" Tournament of Roses van to the meeting so attendees would feel the "spirit" of the Nurses Float.

On October 12, 2008 the Nurses Float Exhibit had its debut. We were thrilled that the students have embraced this project with their financial support and future volunteer support.

These pictures are from the Nurses Float's 1st exhibit at the Managing Today's O.R. Suite held in Washington, D.C. October 30-31. Nurses and others who support nurses raised over $3,000 for the Nurses Float. Thanks to all those wonderful supporters of this project. Keep those donations coming.
