About Us

Bare Root, Inc. was planted on April 16, 2007 when 5 nurses began forming a not-for-profit corporation for the sole purpose of raising funds to design and build a Nurses Float for the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade held in Pasadena, California.  This project came to life because the President of the Tournament of Roses, in 2013, will be a nurse.
